With the Staff Plugin, which can be installed on the Xovis PC2S sensors, you can exclude your staff from the count in compliance with data protection regulations.


As soon as the sensor "sees" the employee name tag, the count is deleted.

Challenge.
When running any kind of business, one of the most necessary basic pieces of information is the number of customers/visitors. In practice, however, the numbers are easily distorted when employees are also counted.

Inaccurate systems or manual counting can be a source of error. Data collected so far included all headcounts, but the number of employees could not be excluded.

Unfiltered data fed into an analytics tool leads to ambiguous results. The conclusions drawn are often based on assumptions rather than facts. Activities are planned based on guesswork, with additional expensive systems or inaccurate manual methods used to exclude employees from customer/visitor counts.

The AI ​​firmware has been trained to visually detect the Xovis Staff Exclusion pattern. When the plugin is activated, the sensors detect the pattern and exclude the employees.

Staffing is visualized live in the WebUI for easy verification. The data provides the total number of customers/visitors, excluding staff.

No additional system or device is required. The AI-driven Xovis sensors, running an AI-based people counting algorithm, offer an integrated solution. Everything is calculated on the sensor, without the need for external processing power.
