With the Staff Plugin, which can be installed on the Xovis PC2S sensors, you can exclude your staff from counting in compliance with data protection regulations.


As soon as the sensor "sees" the employee name badge, the count is deleted.

Challenge.
When running a business of any kind, one of the most essential basic pieces of information is the number of customers/Besucher.In in practice, however, the numbers can be slightly distorted when employees are also counted.

Inaccurate systems or manual counting can be a source of error. Previously collected data included all person counts, but the number of employees could not be excluded.

Unfiltered data fed into an analysis tool leads to unclear results.The conclusions drawn are mostly based on assumptions and not on facts. Activities are planned based on conjectures, using additional expensive systems or inaccurate manual methods to exclude staff from customer/visitor counts.

Together with the existing Xovis data protection concept, the privacy of employees is taken into account. The pattern is uniform - individual employees cannot be identified.

Sensors count all individuals, recognize the pattern, and can thus clearly identify employees and exclude them from the count.

The AI firmware has been trained to visually recognize the Xovis Staff Exclusion pattern. When the plugin is activated, the pattern is recognized by the sensors, and employees are excluded.

The staff is visualized live in the WebUI for easy verification. The data provides the total numbers of customers/visitors excluding the staff.

No additional system or device required. The AI-driven Xovis sensors, on which an AI-based algorithm for person counting runs, offer an integrated solution. Everything is calculated on the sensor without the need for external computing power.
