Sensormatic's ultra-thin Essentials Deactivator provides a large detection field to ensure reliable performance in a single pass. Regardless of label orientation, this device deactivates active AM-EASE labels up to 10 cm (4 inches) away and detects labels up to 15.2 cm (6 inches) apart to ensure uninterrupted and effective operation . The field has integrated status indicators that provide visual and acoustic messages as soon as active labels are successfully detected and deactivated. The AMB1200AM model has been specifically designed for installation in metal table surfaces. This model offers a seamless installation without the need to make cutouts in the checkout counter (POS) to maintain store aesthetics. The AMB1200 model is installed on the checkout counter. The Essentials controller controls the individual deactivators. To make the installation options even more flexible, the controller is attached to a flat surface and can be positioned vertically or horizontally.
