The Xovis PF series is the next generation of image-based people flow management and the first choice for retailers and other businesses moving from visitor counting to more advanced in-store analytics use cases.

With up to a eight times larger coverage area and more computing power than the PC series model, the PF series also offers attention metrics (available from Q2 2026) – a powerful new method to measure visitor engagement – and other features not found in other models. Thanks to integrated processing, the PF series remains fully compliant with evolving data privacy regulations.

The PF series is powered by Xovis’s next-generation SoC and a new optical 3D system. A breakthrough in AI edge computing and 3D vision.

Up to 8 times larger coverage

The Xovis PF sensor has a detection area up to 8 times larger than our PC series model, covering up to 100 m². It is the perfect solution for ROI-conscious, data-driven companies looking to upgrade to more advanced analytics applications without unnecessary installation and maintenance costs. Fewer sensors for a larger detection area mean less wiring, less installation effort, lower energy consumption, and reduced maintenance costs.

Increased computing power

The PF series, equipped with a new chip with significantly increased computing power, handles complex detection tasks, delivers exceptional tracking quality, supports larger multisensors (up to 15 sensors without SPIDER), and offers advanced KPIs such as attention metrics (available from Q2 '26) – all fully integrated without the need for an additional edge device.

Even easier setup

Automatic height detection, automatic calibration, and the elimination of floor masks, lighting masks, and taboo masks reduce the setup time for the PF sensor. PF sensors run on firmware 5 (>5.9), meaning they have the same user interface, handling, and REST APIs, requiring no special effort to integrate them into your solution. Fully integrated into our HUB environment (device control, coverage calculator, monitoring and alerting, and more)

Attention metrics

Xovis is already a pioneer in using AI to capture additional layers of privacy-compliant insights and continues to push the boundaries of what is possible with the PF. Attention metrics (available in Q2 2026), a powerful new measurement tool for visitor engagement, are one of many new features available only on the PF.

Flexible mounting heights and large-area tracking

PF-L sensors can be installed at heights between 2 and 6 meters (6.56 to 19.69 ft). Up to 15 sensors can be combined into a multisensor covering large areas. For more than 15 sensors, a SPIDER processing unit can be used. PF series sensors can also be combined with PC series sensors in a multisensor configuration.
