The Xovis PF series is the next generation of image-based people flow management and the first choice for retailers and other businesses transitioning from visitor counting to more advanced in-store analytics use cases.
With up to eight times greater coverage and more processing power than the PC-series model, the PF series also offers attention metrics (available from Q2 2026)—a powerful new way to measure visitor engagement—and other features not found in other models. Thanks to integrated processing, the PF series remains fully compliant with evolving data protection regulations.

Up to 8 times greater coverage
The Xovis PF sensor has a detection area up to 8 times larger than our PC-series model and covers up to 100 m². It is the perfect solution for ROI-conscious, data-driven businesses that want to transition to more advanced analytics applications without unnecessary installation and maintenance costs. Fewer sensors for a larger detection area mean less cabling, less installation effort, lower energy consumption and reduced maintenance costs.
Increased processing power
Equipped with a new chip offering significantly increased processing power, the PF series handles complex detection tasks, delivers exceptional tracking quality, supports larger multisensor configurations (up to 15 sensors without SPIDER) and offers advanced KPIs such as attention metrics (available from Q2 '26)—all fully integrated, without requiring an additional edge device.
Even easier setup
Automatic height detection, automatic calibration and the elimination of floor masks, lighting masks and taboo masks reduce the time required to commission the PF sensor. PF sensors run firmware 5 (>5.9), meaning they have the same user interface, operation and REST APIs, with no special effort required to integrate them into your solution. Attention metrics
Xovis is already a pioneer in using AI to capture additional layers of privacy-compliant insights and continues to push the boundaries of what is possible with the PF. Attention metrics (available in Q2 2026), a powerful new tool for measuring visitor engagement, are one of many new features available exclusively on the PF.

High tracking accuracy, designed for compliance with data protection regulations, Power over Ethernet (PoE) and state-of-the-art embedded processing technology. The new hardware platform was designed for powerful on-device AI performance, enabling advanced analytics directly in the sensor. Delivering such features in a compact form factor reflects the highest level of sensor manufacturing and sets a new market standard. With these strengths at its core, this sensor is ideally equipped to meet the next generation of people flow analytics challenges.
Flexible mounting heights and large-area tracking
PF-L sensors can be installed at heights between 2 and 6 meters (6.56 to 19.69 ft). Up to 15 sensors can be combined into a multisensor that covers large areas. For more than 15 sensors, a SPIDER processing unit can be used. PF-series sensors can also be combined with PC-series sensors in a multisensor configuration.
